Each year this website organizes the Diabetes Essay and Poem Competition. This competition is
open for young persons with diabetes and who have not yeat reached the age of 25 years on the day of the deadline of sending in the essay or poem.
The object is to give young persons with diabetes a chance to express themselves and to give them a positive experience doing so. There are many nice prizes to be won. The competition has
attracted attention from all over the country (United Kingdom) and also from abroad.
The entries give an excellent account of what goes on in the minds of young persons with diabetes.
Please have a look and see for yourself. Feel free to make a contribution as a writer or as a donor for the prizes (100% of donated money will be paid out to the winners of the competition).
