DrWillem is a great lover of art. Most is his appreciation for music. I love all good music but especially enjoy the classical guitar (which I mastered at amateur, living room level). For me the Villa Lobos guitar concerto is the most beautiful guitar piece I know. I particularly also love the music by Ponce. The music by the Cuban composer Leo Brouwer is very nice and inspiring. In all honesty, I love all good guitar music of all times from Dowland to Dyens. I am also a great lover of Chopin's piano music. There is too much to mention here all that I love. My favourite composer is Henry Purcell and I think he is the greatest composer who ever lived. If he were to be alive today, the world would be in unheard of admiration, I think. Please, take some time for yourself and listen to the good music of your choice. It will bring you peace and enchantement. It is cheap, easy accessible and you can listen to it whenever you want. Also try to play yourself. It is a great joy to do it, even if only you like it. Listen to all sorts of different music. You will enjoy the discovery. I am also a great admirer of painting. Several of my relatives have been quite successful on the canvas and paper. My own father mastered the gouache technique which he was able to enjoy at high age.
