Dan 29/06 9 Diabetic Dans story

It was a sunny morning, and I thought of the adventures that lay ahead of us that day. DAD HAD PROMISED TO TAKE US TO LEGOLAND. But then I remembered the events of the night before, I had been sick several times. When we all ready to go we clambered into the car to set of on are trip to legoland. But, then of all times I was sick! “Right,” said dad “Forget legoland were going to the hospital.” My heart stopped at once! HOSPITAL! A few minutes later we arrived the hospital. There they put me in a room and a few hours later, I fell unconscious. All the doctors and nurses at royal Berkshire hospital did not know what was happening! So they put me in a ambulance and sent me of to John Radcliff hospital, which was and is belived to be the best hospital in England. And even the doctors and nurses there did not know what was happening to me! So they informed my friends and family that I was going to die! As you can imagine it got very emotional! Two day passed and nothing happened but then it was a miracle I HAD WOKE UP! But, the problem was that I had short-term memory loss so I would forget things continually for example I would ask my Mum “What’s for dinner?” Then a few minutes later I would say “Mum, what’s for dinner?” Gradully this problem got better over a matter of weeks. And here I am two years later as a type 1 diabetic, on 4 injections a day.
