I got diabetes when i was 7
I felt so bad, i thought i'd go to heaven
Now i am 9 and feeling just fine
But having no chocolate makes me grumble and whine
I check me blood sugars 4 times a day
It really is the only way
To keep all those hypos
And hypers at bay
When my blood sugars are high
I could drink the sea dry
When my blood sugars are low
My body just doesn't go
Having diabetes isn't that bad
So if you have got it, please don't be sad
Just be careful with all that you eat
And your diabetes can easily be beat
Enjoy your life
Don't let diabetes rule it
Have fun and excercise
It's great to keep fit.
