Type one is no fun if everyone calls you fat,
No sweets and sugar can be a pain
But it is not a great big shame.
Testing, diet and exercise is the order of the day,
This will help to keep those dreaded hypos at bay.
Type one can be an annoying hassle
But your friends and family will get you through;
With their help and understanding life is still a great
Adventure because they all love you.
It does not matter if you’re wealthy;
just so long as you keep fit and healthy.
