DIABETES ESSAY AND POEM COMPETITION 2009

Natalie 01/04 12 the girl

she walks in the room with long flowing hair
puts down her bag and slumps in the chair

her eyes deep blue but full of sadness
silently coping with all this maddnes

how could one night of ilness
turn her whole world around
her hopes and dreams came crshing to the ground

smiling and happy is that girl now
a few small injetions got rid of tha frown
with frequent testing and a bit of insulin
swiming at galas that girls there to win.
