Olivia 29/03 14 Why Does It Have To Be Me?

You awake every morning,
With a thought on your mind,
It’s constantly there,
Throughout the day,
Throughout the week,
You test your bloods,
You count your carbs,
You eat your meal,
You prime your pen and take a look,
When people watch it’s kind of weird,
So you think,
Why does it have to be me?
In class you hypo,
People watch,
People stare,
You wonder why,
But then you think,
It’s because they care,
You can become really ill,
But you can stay safe,
Keep friends and family close,
They really do help,
With the diabetes rollercoaster.
