Diabetes can be tough
It makes you feel down and like yove had enough
Glucose testing,blood galore
makes your fingers feel so sore
injecting insulin is a pain
having to do it again and again
Friends and family are there to help you
diabetes nurses and paediatritians too
We all love chocolate but beware
your only going to give yourself a scare
Down days will always come around
but pick yourself up or you'll hit the ground
Counting carbs can be a bind
but once you get used to it, its easy you'll find
Dealing with diabetes in school can be rough
doing injections and testing and stuff
Blood glucose reading make sure they are low
if you dont all the syptoms will show
So play games,hang out
do the same as everyone else,
your just like them so believe in yourself!
