I woke up like a normal day bright morning a little bit of mist. Not unusual for 5.30 AM in the morning. My day was a normal as it can be, leave work on my way home will be eating out tonight think it will be Chinese. Walk in to my home no one in, unusual. Amanda must be walking home from school, Yvonne working late, Katie still at college.

Our lives changes with one phone call. Yvonne says taken Amanda's blood, Doctor says hospital as quickly as you can, Nurse known that we on way, that make us feel a little easier, but not a lot still worrying they say Amanda has Diabetes!

We look at one another but my day is not as bright and warm, but Amanda smiles and I know we will be ok!!
