title | Diabetes in school.
text |
Hi I'm Emily. Sometimes I get worried with teachers in my school who haven't got a great idea what diabetes is all about. At home I get a bit bossy because my blood can be quite high. When I am hypo at school I normally have 2 biscuits and 2 dextrose tablets. When I am out and about with my friend's parents I get nervous because I don't know if they have a great clue what to do because I don't have a fantastic clue. The thing I hate the most is when it comes to not being allowed to get an Easter Egg dessert when my brothers do and I get to eat something else, or I don't get to watch TV because my blood is to high. When it comes to school again and theres teacher I don't know I say to myself 'Just have a try even if she doesn't know what I am talking about .just have a try'.
