my name is nicole and have had diabetes since i was 3 years old.my parents first told me that my illness was diabetes when i was 5 years old.i think having diabetes is pretty cool,because everyone wants to have what i have in my class.(but they didnt like it when i told them that if an injection hits a vein then it bleeds)i think these are the good things about having diabetes.

1)sometimes when i see my doctor i get a blood machine for free!!!

2)i get to eat crisps in class as a snack because we dont have a break in the afternoon!!!!

3)when my blood level gos low i get to eat chocolate.

i think these are the bad things about diabetes

1)i have to inject my body with a needle.

2)my gran tries to get me to get a pump that doctor lamb runs for so that instead of mum and dad having to do it.

3)if i do have a fit and dont eat theni could go into a coma.

4)i am not aloud to stay out late i have to be home at a curtain time or mum gos off it.

5)i am not aloud to eat when i want i have to eat when mum says.

having diabetes dosent worry me its just the part i said about the coma i dont want it to happen to me. but other than that i like life with diabetes.
