DIABETES ESSAY AND POEM COMPETITION 2010

Alison 14/06 23 Don't Let Them See You Cry.

I know I’m not the only one
Who finds diabetes hard,
Its a strange world you might not like,
but its not all that bad.
Find a little more strength each day,
Dont let all your dreams just fall away,
Look around everyone is just the same
We wont be giving up, We can play the game.

So if your feeling lost,
Can’t find the life your dreaming of,
Just look inside,
Find your light and hold it tight,
Just close your eyes let the world pass you by
Stay strong Don’t let them see you cry.
.. ..
I’m sure I’m not the only one
Who can see the end in sight.
And when you look into the mirror
You always see someone you like.
Wont let life kick you when you’re down,
We’re not too scared to stand and fight.
There’s hope around the corner,
A hand to pull you through,
The faith to help pick you up,
All you have to do is,
Close your eyes let the world pass you by
Hold on Don’t let them see you cry.
.. ..
When your feeling lost,
Can’t find the path you’ve stumbled off,
Just look inside,
Find your light and hold it tight,
Just close your eyes let the world pass you by,
Stay strong Don’t let them see you cry,
Hold on Don’t let them see you cry
