My friend is no different to me, But she has to do her insulin before tea. My family couldn't tell, It’s not like its hell. It's really not a disease, You can't catch it by a sneeze. Nobody understands, Every one tries to help by giving her a hand. But all she wants’ is peace, Everyone pulls at her clothes and makes them crease. Her blood goes up and down like a flying disc, Just because she has a broken pancreas. I’m sure she would prefer to be the same, But life just isn't a game. I’m sure her life isn't a breeze, Even though she doesn’t like cheese. I don't know what being diabetic is like, All i know is the jabs like a mosquito bite. Ever since we've been friends, Her life hasn't gone to an end. She was sure she was going to die, But yet she’s never said bye. | ||||
