DIABETES ESSAY AND POEM COMPETITION 2010

Roberto 22/05 12 The world cup.

Tears and cheers the world cups here,
The faces of fans though England’s fear.
Stadiums are filled with life long fans,
Shouting and screaming in the stands;

Side by side “Here we go”,
Everyone’s waiting for the whistle to blow.
The striker runs and beats every defender,
Making this game one o remember;

France Germany England and Spain,
Everyone cheers for the beautiful game.
England celebrates the country predicts,
Bringing back the memory of 66;

It’s finally through to the knock out stage,
The fans are nervous and sweating with rage.
The pitch is green and the weather is fine,
Let’s hope Italy doesn’t win it this time;

The games are finished the finals arrived,
The last two teams standing are the best that survived,
The world cup trophy is on the line,
“Here we go Here we go” we’ll do it this time;
