DIABETES ESSAY AND POEM COMPETITION 2010

Toby 26/04 14 A Life With Diabetes.

The battle's on
The War's begun
For eleven years now
Eleven years too long
I've been a soldier fighting on
Against the enemy within.
They're meant to protect me but they don't.
Life has played a cruel joke
The scientist work
The doctors too
To find a cure for me and you.
The war of diabetes may one day end
But until then i'll soldier on and on and on.
