Diabetes became my number one enemy.
Isolated was the way I felt.
Abducted by the illness.
Being monitored and medicated,
Educated to inject myself,
The process was uncomfortable.
Every day, step by step, it got easier.
Supported by my nurse and family, diabetes is now a part of me!
